From Ukrainian Champion to International Master

From Ukrainian Champion to International Master

I was born on February 5, 2004, in Mykolaiv, Ukraine. My father and grandfather introduced me to chess at age 5, sparking a lifelong passion. By age 7, I was attending chess classes after school, and at just 10 years old, I became a National Candidate Master of Ukraine, achieving 3rd place at the Ukrainian Championship (U10 boys) and representing my country at the World Youth Chess Championship 2014 in South Africa.

Throughout my youth career, I was a multiple medalist in Ukrainian championships across U12, U14, U16, and U18 sections, primarily in rapid and blitz chess. I won the national Ukrainian championship (U14 boys) in 2017, placed 5th at the European Chess Championship (U12 boys) in Prague in 2016, and became a National Master of Sports in Ukraine in 2019.

In 2020, I officially received the International Master title from FIDE. I scored 2 GM norms in 2022 in Sweden and have been a winner and medalist at many international chess events across Europe. Currently, I hold a FIDE rating of 2478 in standard chess, 2502 in rapid, and 2417 in blitz.

Experienced Coach with International Reach

Experienced Coach with International Reach

I've been professionally coaching students online since 2019, accumulating over 6 years of teaching experience. My coaching journey includes prestigious opportunities: I've been one of the coaches at the "Baltic Chess Camp" for kids (Kasparov Chess Foundation) in 2023, 2024, and 2025, held in Lithuania, Latvia, and Albania.

I've also given lectures for kids at the "Grandmasters chess camp SS 4 Springare" in Sweden (2024), working alongside IM, FT, IA Vladimir Poley and GM, FST Andrei Kovalev. Currently, I coach students from USA, Canada, Belgium, UK, Italy, Spain, and Ukraine.

My approach is built on hard work, friendly and open communication, patience, endurance, and a strong pursuit of goals. I have experience working with chess students of all ages—both kids and adults—and I adapt my teaching style to each individual's needs and level.
