From Beginner to Top 0.1% in Five Years
I'm a 21 year old university student from Austria. I started playing chess only five years ago and quickly fell in love with this wonderful game. I became addicted to the seemingly endless possibilities and it was my curiosity that led me to the top 0.1% of players on chess.com in Rapid and Blitz.
In the past, I was lucky to gain real tournament experience, but took a break from over the board chess due to moving overseas. I am currently preparing to start that journey again and hopefully work towards a master title.
Besides playing chess, I really enjoy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, video games and cooking. I would be excited to be a part of your journey!
Teaching with Passion and Personalization
I have been teaching chess to groups and individuals for about two years now, mainly in person. What is often forgotten is how important the enjoyment of the game really is and how tightly it is linked to a player's performance. Whether it is Classical or Blitz, openings or endgames, tactics or strategy, we can improve every aspect of your game while strengthening your love for it.
Since my students range from elementary school students to seniors, I learned that teaching should be tailored to the student's needs and individual style. One of the greatest feelings in chess is discovering who you are as a player and learning how to win in your own way!
